Installation Guide

Here’s a detailed, step-by-step guide to installing your InstantFlow plugin in Blender, from downloading it from Blender Market to installing it in Blender:

Step 1: Download the plugin from Blender Market

  • Go to the Blender Market website and log in to your account.

  • Purchase the Instant Flow plugin if you haven't already.

  • Once the purchase is complete, download the .zip plugin file.

  • Save the .zip file to a location on your computer that is easy to find.

Step 2: Install the plugin in Blender

  • Open Blender.

  • Go to the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences...". The Blender Preferences window will open.

  • In the Preferences window, click on the "Add-ons" tab in the left sidebar.

  • Click the "Install..." button. A file explorer window will open.

  • Navigate to the location where you saved the plugin .zip file downloaded from Blender Market.

  • Select the .zip file and click "Install Add-on". Blender will install the plugin from the .zip file.

  • Once the installation is complete, you will need to activate the plugin. In the Preferences window, on the "Add-ons" tab, use the search bar to search for "Instant Flow".

  • Check the box next to the plugin name ("Instant Flow") to activate it.

  • If the installation is successful, the InstantFlow plugin will now be available in Blender, in the 3D View/Sidebar/InstantFlow.

After following these steps, the InstantFlow plugin should be correctly installed and activated in Blender, ready for use.

Troubleshooting :

If you encounter any issues during the plugin installation process, here are some common troubleshooting steps:

  • Check Compatibility: Ensure that the plugin version you are trying to install is compatible with the version of Blender you are using. Plugins are often developed for specific Blender versions, and installing an incompatible version can lead to errors. You can usually find compatibility information on the product page on Blender Market or in the plugin documentation.

  • Restart Blender: After installing a plugin, it is often necessary to restart Blender for the plugin to be loaded correctly and its interface to appear. If you do not see the plugin in the 3D View sidebar after installation, try restarting Blender.

  • Install from Local Location: Sometimes, installing a plugin from a network location or cloud drive can lead to problems. Try saving the plugin .zip file to your local hard drive and installing it from there.

  • Check Blender Console for Errors: If the installation fails, Blender may display an error message in its console. To open the console, go to the "Window" menu and select "System Console". Examine the error messages in the console for clues about the cause of the problem.

  • Disable Other Add-ons: In rare cases, a conflict between different add-ons can prevent a new add-on from being installed or functioning correctly. Try temporarily disabling any other add-ons you have installed and try installing the Instant Flow plugin again. If the installation is successful, you can then re-enable your other add-ons one by one to identify the conflicting add-on.

  • Reinstall Blender: If all else fails, it may be helpful to reinstall Blender. This can resolve any underlying issues with your Blender installation that might be interfering with the plugin installation.
