Convert Split and Create

These functions are especially useful once you've finished creating your cables, pipes, or tubes, and want to convert them into real, editable meshes — ready for UV unwrapping, texturing, or UDIM workflows.

Convert and Split :
The Convert and Split section offers tools designed to quickly modify the nature of objects or split geometry in the scene.
Convert to Mesh : Transforms a curve or surface object into a mesh. This step is essential before moving on to UV unwrapping, texture painting, or preparing your assets for a UDIM-based texturing workflow.

Convert to Curve : This tool converts a mesh object into a curve. Ideal for leveraging the deformation tools specific to curves or for generating cables and tubes more easily by taking advantage of spline flexibility.

Split Mesh Faces : Duplicates and separates the selected faces into distinct new objects. Perfect for isolating specific parts of a mesh, creating variations, or preparing certain areas before generating cables or pipes.

Instant Creation :
The Instant Creation section contains a key tool for automatically generating elements from selected curves.
Generate : Analyzes your curves and objects to create cables, pipes, or tubes based on the parameters you have defined. This tool saves you valuable time by creating complex geometries (networks of cables, pipes, etc.) with a single click while remaining customizable through InstantFlow’s properties.
